Many online sources provide information about charts and other graphic organizers, including how to use them across the K through curriculum, and also offer free, printable versions that students can use on their own after a topic in science has been introducedthrough literature, class discussions, and modeling using student ideas and responses:
Make a copy of a chart for each student that matches the chart he or she will use to model with the whole group or class. While writing down what students say on the group or class chart, also take dictation for individual students who can use the groupor class chart for ideas. The chart can also include a word bank of the key vocabulary for the content of each chart, which students can use to help them remember the appropriate words when recording their ideas. The word bank of key vocabulary can also be written on index cards, with a set of cards made for each student or small group. Students can place the key words on the chart and move them to identify relationships before they write them down. Sticky notes can also be used for this purpose.

Planning your wedding is not easy. Everyone has advice. Everyone has an opinion. And that’s just the people you know! If you were to read just half the books, pamphlets, web sites, etc. written in the last half-century about wedding etiquette and protocol, you’d be reading and planning until your retirement! So how do you choose whose advice to heed and what resources are most relevant?
Unfortunately, we can’t help you with the first part of that question: You’ll have to wage your own battles with Aunt Frances and Grandma Helen over the seating arrangements. We can, however, point you to the most helpful resources: books, magazines and web sites that tell you what you need to know, not what you need to do (a selection of resources are listed below). We restrict our discussion to what we know best – information and tips on “managing” your bridesmaids. We refrain from telling you what to do, because your creativity and imagination are what will make your wedding celebration memorable. We’ll just provide a little help along the way.
First, it is an industry that is made up of multiple smaller enterprises like caterers, wedding consultants, dresses, various beauty suppliers (hair, makeup), photographers, favors/bridesmaids gifts, music, honeymoon related, etc. While the industry as a whole represents a lot of money, each of the component parts is much smaller — some smaller than others.
These smaller composite suppliers can be very local and likely will be small and privately owned — traditionally the types of businesses that do not necessarily report financial information to any agency other than the IRS. This is in sharp contrast to larger industries, comprised on many public companies which are required to file with the SEC making it much easier to find information. These larger industries also affect the economy as a whole on a much more obvious scale, also making it easier

Crystalline mirrors are multilayer mirrors where at least the reflecting parts consist of monocrystalline material – typically, of semiconductors.
The basic operation principle is usually that of a distributed Bragg reflector or more generally an optical interference coating: the mirror structure contains a sequence of thin transparent optical layers, typically with two alternating materials having different refractive indices.
The resulting Fresnel reflection of a single interface between two materials is quite weak, but multiple reflections coherently add up, so that overall high reflectivities of mirror devices can be achieved.
Dielectric mirrors are based on the same operation principle, only that they are based on dielectric layer materials, which are usually amorphous rather than monocrystalline.
Get rid of one thing a day for 30 days.
This is a great way to start — it’s easy and gives you momentum: The more you purge, the more you’ll want to purge. If you’re not sure about something, ask yourself: Is this thing adding value to my life? Or, if you’re the literary type, bring to mind the quote of English writer William Morris: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
Care to make it interesting? “Decluttering is boring,” says Joshua. “Make it more fun with friendly competition.” Grab a partner (a friend, a sister, a guy you met on the street). On the first day of the month, you each get rid of one item; on the second day, two items, and so on. Whoever goes the longest, wins. The prize is up to you: Loser treats for a night of drinking? If you both get to the end of the month, you’ll have rid yourselves of hundreds of items. (We’re not doing the math, but it’s definitely a lot.)
You really only need one nail clipper, one cheese grater, one cocktail shaker (ok, maybe two). And, no, you do not need all 2of those plastic takeout containers just in case friends and family need to cart home extra turkey and stuffing after Thanksgiving, which you don’t even host.
Whittle down to what you truly wear.
Why dig through piles of so-so sweaters to grab the one that makes you feel smokin’? By donating the meh stuff, you’re simply clearing a path to the pieces that will always look good on you. “I had, like, 70 Brooks Brothers dress shirts, 1pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes — it was insane,” Joshua admits. “Now, I own 2% of the clothes I used to, but they’re all my favorites.” Try the Project 33experiment: Go through your clothes and pick out 3pieces (including accessories, shoes, and jewelry; not including underwear, PJs, and gym clothes) that you’ll wear over the next three months. Box up the rest. Repeat every three months, rinse unwanted, unflattering, un-everything pieces out of your life.
The tablets all come with iOS 10, the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS. Key features include a redesigned music player, richer notifications, a better looking news app, more messaging customizations and a robust maps app, which suggests locations of interest along your route.
This fall, iOS 1will arrive and make the iPad an even more productive device with significant improvements that should enable better multitasking. Those upgrades include a Files app for organizing your documents and projects, a Dock that makes iOS feel more like macOS and the ability to drag and drop text, photos and files.
Best For: Because of its relatively low price and generous screen size, the iPad is a great choice for media consumption, gaming, social media and some light productivity (email, note taking without a pen). Though the iPad mini is a better size for small hands, many parents will prefer the iPad’s lower price when choosing a slate for their kids. College students on a budget will also find this model appealing.
This is the most straight-forward approach, but it can also be effective if done for a reason (as opposed to not being able to think of another way). For example, if you are analyzing a photo essay on the web or in a booklet, a chronological treatment allows you to present your insights in the same order that a viewer of the document experiences those images. It is likely that the images have been put in that order and juxtaposed for a reason, so this line of analysis can be easily integrated into the essay.
Be careful using chronological ordering when dealing with a document that contains a narrative (i.e. a television show or music video). Focusing on the chronological could easily lead you to plot summary which is not the point of a rhetorical analysis.
A spatial ordering covers the parts of a document in the order the eye is likely to scan them. This is different than chronological order, for that is dictated by pages or screens where spatial order concerns order amongst a single page or plane. There are no unwavering guidelines for this, but you can use the following general guidelines.
